Scandinavian Viking silver hair rings or spacer bead collection

This is an excavated group of 57 Viking silver beads or hair rings, dating to the 10th - 11th century. The beads appear to cut from a coin or sheet of silver, these could be threaded through plaited hair or worn as spacer beads in amber or jet.
