Code: 10469
This is an ancient Iron Age (Celtic) bronze finger ring, dating to the 3rd - 1st century B.C. The ring is decorated with a raised knob bezel, comparable with knobbled "ring money" from the Hallstatt and Danube regions. This example is clearly a finger ring, with the lower shank free from decoration. The top of the bezel has a cut or dent, the ring is slightly mishapen. An interesting historic ring.
