This is a Tudor silver halfgroat of king Henry VII, minted in York between 1502 - 1504. The obverse bears a profile portrait of Henry of the latest style in Renaissance coinage. The reverse bears two keys beside the royal arms, these keys denote the coin was struck under the authority of the Church - in this case, Christopher Bainbridge Archbishop of York.
