A nineteenth century, earthenware jelly mould. This piece is impressed, to the base, 'COPELAND' and it dates from c.1860. It is also impressed with a number '6'. The mould is an interesting form which would turn out a shape resembling the central section of the Taj Mahal with a large central dome surrounded by four smaller domes. It is in excellent condition and it would be  a good mould to use as it would turn out easily.
