An early 19th century, creamware mould with cherries to the base. This mould is impressed 'WEDGWOOD' and it dates from c.1820. It is also  impressed with the number '400' which would be the pattern number. It is lightly potted and the interior of the mould is very well detailed. There is a chip on the interior of the rim or the mould and there is also a hairline crack to one corner. These can both be seen in the images of the interior of the mould.
