A Shelley pottery jelly mould. This is marked, in black transfer print, with “Shelley” in a shield, above “ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. The design was catalogued by Shelley as the French pattern. It was made in four sizes, this being a size 2, with a capacity of 1 1/2 pints. It is a great shape which turns out very well, looking something like a marquee. It is in excellent, usable condition.
