A graduated set of three, large, bulbous copper saucepans and covers. These have no manufacturer marks but they are English and they date from c.1860. Each one is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper and they have castellated seams around the base and up the side. They all have hollow steel handles and flat, copper, strap handles to the lids. The largest one also has a brass handle, on the opposite side to the steel handle, making it much easier to lift when full. This is a particularly large example of this type of pan. They are all in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interiors, is worn so now they are purely for decorative use.
