A set of five, nineteenth century French copper saucepans with steel handles. These are all made from a heavy gauge of copper and they date from c.1890. They are a good, graduated set, ranging in size from the largest, which is 20.4cm. diameter by 10.5cm. deep to the smallest which is 12.4cm. diameter by 6.4cm. deep. The overall lengths of pan and handle range from 41.5cm. down to 24.2cm. These are a good decorative set to hang in a kitchen and they are all in very good condition. Although they haven’t been re-tinned, the tin is still in good enough condition for them to be used.
