A good quality, 19th century, English copper coffeepot. This piece dates from c.1870. It is well made, from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it has a castellated seam up the side. It has a turned, wooden handle, which is attached by a heart shaped copper fitting, and there is a brass finial to the lid. The tinning to the interior is quite grey but, with a good clean, it would still be good enough to use. There are a couple of very small dents, consistent with use but otherwise it is in very good condition.
