A large, Victorian copper jelly mould. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above a pattern number ’225’. To the opposite side is a workmans’ mark in the shape of a fleur de lys. The mould is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. There are a couple of very tiny dents to the sides but otherwise it is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
