A super quality, large, 19th century, French copper mould with a pansy to the top. This is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and it has a castellated seam up the side. It is stamped with a pattern number ’46’ and it dates from c.1860. The design to the top is extremely well detailed and the mould is in excellent condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
