An attractive, 19th century, French copper mould with medlars to the top. This is nicely made, from a substantial gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1890.The design is very well modelled, with very good depth, and the sides have narrow fluting. It is marked with a number “83.0” which could be a pattern number but there are no manufacturers marks. It is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is slightly worn.
