3 Part Mould.

A Victorian, three part, pewter, ice cream banquet mould. This mould is marked, on the inside of the base, with a registration kite mark. This dates the registration of the design to the year 1868 and the mould would date from c.1870. It is also marked with the capasity 'QUART', and a large number 'NO 20'. The design is quite simple with fluted sides and a small dome to the top. It is in very good condition. It has a very slight dent to the top but this does not affect the interior of the mould. The interior is in very bright, usable condition and the exterior has a good, dark patina.
