Banquet Mould

An unusual shaped, Victorian, three part, pewter, ice cream banquet mould. There are no manufacturers marks but this mould is marked, on the inside of the base, with the capasity '1 1/2 PINT', and a large number '7'. It dates from c.1870. Although this design is quite simple it is not at all common. It has plain sides with a fluted, pointed top. It is in excellent condition. The interior is in very bright, usable condition and the exterior has a good, dark patina.
