A pair of miniature, teardrop shaped moulds with fluted ends. These moulds are made from a substantial gauge of copper and they date from c.1870. The design is quite simple and they would have been used for moulding individual portions of aspic as an starter or an accompaniment to a main dish. They are both in excellent condition but they couldn't be used as the tinning is worn.
