Small French stockpot

A small, French copper stockpot and cover. Both the pot and the lid are marked with the number ’20’ and this relates to the diameter of the pan. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper, it has the typical form of French brass handles, and it dates from c.1890. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used. There is slight pitting to the copper on the lid but other than that it is in very good condition. The stockpot is 20cm. diameter by 20.3cm. high but the overall dimensions, including the brass handles, are 28.2cm. across by 22cm. high.
