An interesting, early 19th century, Victorian brass iron stand. This dates from c.1840. It is very well made and is cast from a very heavy gauge of brass. It has quite an unusual design which incorporates the suits in a pack of playing cards: hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades and it is in excellent condition.
