An attractive, Victorian beechwood breadboard, with a fine, pale, patina. This board  dates from c.1880 and it is a little larger in diameter than many. The border is carved with a small flower, and ears of wheat, and the words 'The Staff Of Life'. The script is in quite a fancy font . and the carving is well detailed, although now slightly worn. There is a small crack to the rim of the board but, other than that, is in good condition.
