A very well made, Victorian copper bucket with a folding steel handle. This piece would, originally have been a stockpot and it would have had a lid. Now that it no longer has a lid it would make a very good coal bucket or waste paper bin. It is marked, to the side 'EBOR' and this would probably have been the mark of a previous owner. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it has a castellated seam around the base and up the side.The steel fitting, which attaches the handle, is quite unusual, and well designed, in that it doesn't allow the handle to fold right down against the side of the pan. There is slight denting to the handle but other than that it is in very good condition.
