We have been reclaiming architectural antiques for over 22 years now, specialising in Doors, Fireplaces & Surrounds, Wooden Flooring and many other interesting artefacts.
We buy all manner of architectural antiques, restore them to their former glory and make them available to the public and builders/designers who are looking for a an item from a particular period, or simply for a stunning, individual item to grace a home.
In the case of antique doors, we offer a complete service. We can modify the measurements to fit your needs. We can strip back to bare wood, repair any damage, varnish, glaze, and deliver the door if required (See Restoration Services). Alternatively we can simply supply a door to the desired size and design and let you or your builder renovate it.
Delivery
We offer a delivery service to most areas of the UK and can deliver abroad. Please contact us for a quote which is dependent on item size/weight and the number of items involved.
If we are unable to make the delivery ourselves then we use either a UK pallet courier company or for more delicate antiques a specialist antique removals firm. This is also quoted on a piece by piece basis.
We will make sure your item is properly packaged for transit, and arrange a delivery time to suit you. Once an item has been reserved, we will contact you to make the necessary arrangements and to quote you for delivery if required.
(The delivery service is door to door only so you will need to make your own arrangements to carry the goods up staircases etc.)
Our workshop and showroom is situated near Petersfield in the village of Stroud, very close to the A3. We welcome visiting customers to come and view our current stock of over 2,000 architectural items, preferably by appointment, to ensure we can give you the service you need.
