A reclaimed painted pine door for internal or external use. The door is likely to date to C.1900 and has elegant gunstock stiles, popular during that period. The door is traditional in design with two recessed panels on one face and flush panels on the other. The top of the door has two large panels for glazing. We can glaze the door for an EXTRA CHARGE, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has been painted brown but the paint has extensive chipping and flaking and you will need to sand and re-paint the door to suit. The door is in solid condition with some damage and signs of age, as expected of reclaimed antiques. The door has some knocks, chips and splits, especially to the edges and corners. There is some slight separation to some of the joints. There is some roughness to the edges of the panels where the glass will sit and some knocks. The door has some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. One hinge has tarnish and the other one is missing. The door height and width may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door, once glazed and finished, will be a very nice period item to add character to a home.
